How To Easily Setup Blog Authorship, How To Display My Picture Beside Search Result

Setting Up blog Authorship has now become very demanding. Every Blogger wants to setup his own blog authorship but many "new" fail to understand how to do it because of all those "Complex Tutorials" on the internet. But don't fear today i have come with a very simple process of getting Google Authorship for " Blogger". Read On to know how.

But Before I start I would like to tell you 2 main importance of setting up blog authorship.

Importance Of Blog Authorship-

1. Setting your own authorship makes you more reliable, I mean that if you set up Blog authorship your face will come up beside search results of your site and even if you are not at the Top of the Google Search Result, people will surely click on your link as they will see your Picture ,which in most cases attracts more readers and as a result you will receive more traffic.

2. Setting Up Blog authorship also helps you to increase your Rank in search results.

How To set up blog Authorship- 

To setup Google Authorship You need to Follow only few Simple steps which are given below.

1. The First Step is to make some changes in your Google + account ,if you have not made it.

    a. First go to your G+ account Profile and their click on "About".
    b. Then Click on Edit in the links tab present in your About page.


   c. In the Edit Menu Click on " Add Custom Link" under "Contributor to" heading.
   d. And Enter Your Websites/Blog Title and URL in that.
   e. And Keep Everything On "Public" settings.
   f. And save it.

2. Now we are going to do the main step in which maximum people fail. We are going to connect your G+ account to your blog. But in a different and easy method from others.

  a. First of all copy this code-

There you will have to change some parts Highlighted.

The part highlighted with Yellow should be changed with your G+ account Id.

The Part highlighted with Red Should be Changed with your G+ account name.

 b. After making the changes copy the code and Go to Blogger Dashboard.
 c. And navigate to layout tab.
 d. In the layout tab click on " Add a Gadget" (it can be anywhere you want) and select the

    HTML/JavaScript option from the " Add a Gadget" options.
 e. And in the HTML/JavaScript box paste that code you copied Earlier and save it.

You can reposition the gadget anywhere you want and believe me it will not at all effect your authorship.

Now after saving everything click on Google + tab in the Dashboard of your Blog and check whether it Your Google + account is associated with Your blog or not. The tab should look like this showing a Tick Beside Your associated G+ account.  

After You finish checking everything it's time to test whether Google Authorship is working or not.

How to check whether Authorship is working or not-

To check whether Google Author ship is working or not Just follow the simple steps.

a. First Go to Rich Webmasters Rich Snippet testing tool to open the tool click the link below-

b. In the webmasters Tool Enter Your Site's proper URl, I mean the URL that you entered in the

    Contributor tab of Your G+ account.
c. And Click on preview.

The Preview should come up like this with your picture beside it.

Sometimes it takes time to come up if your website is new so wait and have patience and keep building your website and believe me this will work.

After some days or weeks when you will receive a good amount of traffic your Face will start to come up in the search results like this-
